For The Win: Loyal Jiffy Lube® Ontario Customer Takes Home The ‘It’s Summer Somewhere’ Contest $5000 Grand Prize.

It may be a chilly winter here in Ontario, but ‘It’s Summer Somewhere’ for Kristy Schneider!

Jiffy Lube® Ontario aimed to help one lucky customer trade in road salt for a salt-rimmed margarita with the ‘It’s Summer Somewhere Contest’, which ran from December 15, 2014 – February 15, 2015. Contestants were eligible to win the grand prize of a $5000 travel voucher provided by the Marco Travel Group or accept a $5000 cash prize. In addition, three weekly winners were also selected at random throughout the contest and were rewarded with a $100 Jiffy Lube® Ontario gift card. “Jiffy Lube® Ontario is proud and excited to name Kristy Schneider as the winner of the ‘It’s Summer Somewhere’ Contest,” said Dianne Hinds, Director of Marketing for Jiffy Lube® Ontario. “We know the harsh winters in Ontario can be rough on people’s cars, time and mindset! It always gives us a warm feeling as an organization to be able to engage with our loyal customer base and introduce ourselves to those just getting to know about Jiffy Lube®, and the ‘It’s Summer Somewhere’ contest was the perfect opportunity to do so.”

Ironically, Kristy Schneider of Kitchener, Ontario had just returned from a tropical vacation when she got the news she was named the contest’s Grand Prize Winner. “Before I left for vacation I was involved in a car accident, and I wasn’t sure what I was going to do when I returned,” said Kristy. “I picked up the cheque from Dianne on Friday and Saturday I was able to purchase my new car! I’ve always received prompt attention and excellent service at Jiffy Lube®, and I’ve shared my experience with others who say they will go to Jiffy Lube® from now on!”
